Hayle

Among the coastal towns in Cornwall, Hayle is the only one that boasts three miles of uninterrupted golden sand at low tide, known as the Towans. This vast sandy stretch provides a scenic backdrop for beachcombing, sand castle building, strolling and birdwatching.

In the north, the beaches Gwithian and Godrevy are popular with surfers and perfect for families interested in rock pooling. Check out Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, home to hundreds of rare and endangered animals and birds.
